By George is published by the Jesse Stuart Foundation, book publisher, bookstore, and local organization committed to celebrating the area’s celebrated writer, Jesse Stuart of Greenup. The Foundation’s bookstore has a wealth of titles on Kentucky and Appalachia. It also has unique used books for sale and titles for readers of all ages. 
The Foundation sells copies of By George at its 13th Street store and through its online catalog.
